I use it in some of my psychology courses (gender roles, etc.). The pictures are more than interesting and funny. The introduction really helps you to get a lot more out of the book. I envy the relationship Judy and Vivian Olausen have created with each other! I'd love to photograph my mother strapped to the top of a car with antlers! I've got a truck, smoke a little too much, maybe missing a few toes. Nothing too unusual. At my 9-to-5 I've gotten by for years on my old Two Wolf Moon T-Shirt. "Bring the loader over to bay 4" they'd say, and I'd get over there and get it done, my two wolves classy enough for work but also letting the passing ladies know I'm a raging torrent of untamed American spirit yearning to breath free, preferably naked. I'm no Don Juan, but I did ok -- mostly with Janice from Accounting, until she got diptheria. Most of my income went to the good life, brewed high in the Rockies if you know what I mean. But one day I decided to take some hard earned dough and upgrade. Bigtime. When I got my Three Wolf Moon t-shirt, I knew my life had changed, but I didn't know how much. When I put it on, the effect was immediate. 33% more wolf was almost too much to handle. It was like wearing 1500 ccs of chaps on a 1800 cc motorcycle. The vibrations alone were almost enough to throw me off my stride. And the fact that the third wolf faces backwards while howling, demonstrating individuality at the same time as unity of purpose and nobility of spirit, was a metaphor so powerful Roy, the guy who steals my mail, practically took his own foot off with his weed whacker the moment he saw me. Jesus. After suturing him up with some spare baling twine, I trotted down to the hardware store to stock up. Bad idea. The rippling of my well endowed man curves apparently set the wolves to almost a hypnotic shimmering, trapped and yet freed under the opalescent moon they eternally worship and yet deny. Some guy took one look at me and backed right into a concrete planter. I almost stopped to see if he was ok, but then I remembered that wolves don't stop for anybody, particularly when howling. These days, I'm making $1.15 more an hour, and I keep getting free cable. With the savings, I'm thinking ...maybe...just maybe, it'll be Four Wolf Time soon. But for those of you who have put in your time and training on the One and Two wolf shirts, I highly recommend investing in an upgrade. You'll never truly soar free without one. Sabtu, 04 Agustus 2012 A [Straight] Woman's Review Horrible Horrors Collection Vol 2 From one of the producers of the 'Hercules' and 'Xena' Television series of the 90's comes this hilarious, over the top hommage to 'B' movie babes from the early silent screen to the present. The movie relentlessly assaults the senses through flashbacks, split screen images, and a powerhouse music soundtrack,to keep the viewer from catching a breather. Naturally, you will see 'Quentin Tarantino' nuances but the hard core viewer will see tributes to 'Russ Meyer', 'Jack Hill' and even 'Jess Franco' to keep this wonderful stew brewing. Cameos by 'Kevin Sorbo' and 'Lucy Lawless' and even 'Hercules' sidekick 'Michael Hurst' enhance the proceedings. Highly recommended to every fan who loves bitch slapping tough babes from 'Tura Satana' to 'Pam Grier'. You'll probably need a shower after the film concludes. Get your Bitch Slap Unrated Julia Voth Now! Kamis, 02 Agustus 2012 A Dainty Lady Barbie P f Albee Special Edition Great ("adult") love story! I wholeheartedly recommend this a fun story for those who came of age in the (post) X-Files period. Listening to the audio books was my first exposure to the Twilight Series. I am about a decade removed from watching teen flics and am not usually a fan of romances - except for the 19th c. kind. But Keith Turan's review of the initial Twilight film, in which he extolled the movie as an unabashed and "Swooningly Risky Romance" peaked my interest [...]. These are GREAT STORIES! Listening transported me back to the feelings of intense romantic love and infatuation, not so much of the high school days (yikes!) but rather the feelings of first being engaged to be married. (Awww...) But, be forewarned, it is not a "sweet" fairytale story. (More "Grimm" than "Mother Goose.) Certainly not appropriate for kids. The sexual encounters are more (ahem) detailed than is probably necessary but, on the other hand, the story isn't as violent as the precursor "Eclipse." I often listen to audiobooks (e.g. while cleaning house and running errands in the car) and this story is well suited to the genre: it is action-packed and full-to-bursting with game-changing, though not complex, plot twists. And though the dialogue can be a little repetitive, it's perfect for an audiobook where the listener's attention isn't consistently focused. I could tune out for a few minutes or so while focusing on my other tasks at hand and not lose the story. I would add a not of caution, though: if there are young ones around, wear headphones. One a final note, Ilyana Kadushin is a great read. Her youthful-sounding voice is a good match for the Meyer's teenage protagonist. Though, I can imagine that if one is accustomed to hearing the screen actors instead, then it would be distracting. Get your Barbie P f Albee Special Edition Now!
